Graduation Portraits- Anne Springs Close Greenway- Fort Mill, S.C.

When Jaclyn asked me to photograph her graduation pictures, one of the first things I thought was " how cool!" You see, 20 something years ago, we did this thing (in the 3rd or 4th grade) called 'book buddies'. We were assigned a kindergartner to read books to, and guess who just so happened to be my little book buddy?!  YEP, Jaclyn! I never forgot her name and how her sweet personality made an impression on me. Over the years we continued growing up in the same city and attended the same youth group, but never really got to know each other outside of mutual friends and Facebook.

It's crazy how fast time flies, and photographing college graduation portraits will make you realize it quickly. To see Jaclyn holding a picture of herself as a kindergartner, then looking up at her beautiful grown up face, was about enough to bring tears to my eyes. To think that I got to be there to read to her so many years ago, and now am capturing one of the most monumental seasons of her life--- words cannot describe this blessing! What a treat to see the kind, loving, compassionate, hard working woman she has become. A woman who loves the Lord and radiates His love inside and out! It is truly an honor to know you, and I thankful to be just a small part of your beautiful story!
